Looking for a unique date night, girls night out or something different to do in Melbourne?
Join us at the Ashbuilt Customs workshop and learn to use real woodworking tools to create your own custom cheeseboard from recycled timber offcuts.
In this relaxed and beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll design and make a beautiful cheeseboard from start to finish. You’ll learn how to safely use tools including the bandsaw, trim router and sanding equipment, before finishing your board with a personalised laser engraving.
No woodworking experience is required — this class is designed for complete beginners.
By the end of the night you’ll leave with a handcrafted cheeseboard that’s completely unique to you.

The Experience
Workshops run for approximately 3–3.5 hours in a small group setting so everyone gets plenty of guidance.
At the end of the class your cheeseboard will be laser engraved with your name or message, creating a piece you’ll use and enjoy for years.
After the Workshop
Many guests choose to grab some wine, cheese or a grazing hamper from the studio to enjoy on the beach or nearby after the class.

Booking Policy
Tickets may be exchanged up to 21 days prior to your workshop date. Due to limited class sizes and preparation requirements, bookings within 21 days are non-refundable and non-transferable.
