Boldly go where no Magic player has gone before at the GATECRASH Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Prerelease!
Be among the first to open and play with the brand-new Star Trek set before its official release. Each player will receive their own Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Prerelease Pack containing:
- Six Star Trek Play Boosters
- One traditional foil rare or mythic rare card
- One deck box
- One spindown life counter
Players will open their packs and build a minimum 40-card deck before competing in three friendly Swiss-paired rounds.
Basic lands will be supplied by GATECRASH for use during the event.
Prize Support
Every player who takes part will receive at least one additional Star Trek Play Booster. Extra prize boosters will also be awarded to the top five players:
- 1st place: six boosters in total
- 2nd place: five boosters in total
- 3rd place: four boosters in total
- 4th place: three boosters in total
- 5th place: two boosters in total
- Every other participant: one booster
Prerelease events are relaxed and welcoming, so you do not need to be an expert or bring your own deck. Some basic knowledge of how to play Magic: The Gathering is recommended, but assistance with deck building will be available.
Players should have a free Wizards Account and are encouraged to download the Magic: The Gathering Companion app before attending.
All cards opened from your Prerelease Pack and any prize boosters are yours to keep.
Spaces are strictly limited to 15 players and must be booked in advance.
