Happy 4th birthday, Casa Lawa. 🤍
Four years ago we left Amsterdam for Sicily. It was only meant to be a summer experiment, but somehow it turned into a full-time life.
That first summer we picked mulberries and plums, made jars of jam, welcomed our first artist-in-residence, painted walls, baked our first bread, collected vintage furniture, and slowly discovered what Casa Lawa wanted to become.

On the slopes of Mount Etna nestled between 300 blossoming cherry trees. Built from lava in 1812. Since then we've added a few eclectic things to our 400m2 of rest and relaxation. Iconic mountain views. The sound of chirping birds in the morning. The best night's sleep you ever had.
