Program Description
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a common yet underdiagnosed condition affecting cardiovascular, metabolic, and neurocognitive health. Primary care providers are vital for early identification, diagnosis, and management of OSA, especially in patients with obesity and other risk factors.
This educational activity aims to equip clinicians with strategies to improve OSA detection and treatment in primary care settings. The program focuses on evidence-based practices for routine screening, diagnostic testing, and multidisciplinary approaches for managing moderate-to-severe OSA and comorbid obesity.
Participants will learn to use screening tools, interpret diagnostic studies, and work with specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
