DUG

DUG are one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary folk, blending Irish and American traditions into a sound that’s playful, honest and unmistakably their own.

Formed by Conor (Lorkin) O’Reilly and Jonny Pickett, the duo combine resonator guitar, banjo and intricate finger-picking with sharp storytelling, humour and infectious energy. Singles including Big Sundown and Jubilee — the latter shortlisted for two Grammy nominations — showcase a sound equally at home with foot-stomping folk and moments of yearning and melancholy.

Signed to Claddagh Records, DUG have quickly built a devoted following through their charismatic live shows and unique approach to modern folk, taking them from major Irish festivals to international stages including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
