Ispíní na hÉireann

Ispíní na hÉireann are a feral folk-alternative music collective from Dublin, bringing together some of Ireland’s most exciting contemporary musicians. Formed in 2018 and fronted by Tomás Mulligan, Paahto Cummins and Declan Gillen, the band draws deeply from Ireland’s rich traditional music heritage while pushing the genre into bold new territory.

Their sound blends virtuosic original compositions with inventive reworkings of traditional tunes, combining technical brilliance, sharp humour, storytelling and social commentary. The result is a style that feels unmistakably Irish while remaining refreshingly modern and fiercely original.

Following the success of their debut album The Hard Working Men, the band released the critically acclaimed Poxtail Soup, further establishing their reputation for energy, irreverence and heart.

Renowned for their exhilarating live performances, Ispíní na hÉireann have built a growing audience across Ireland, the UK and Europe, earning a reputation as one of the most exciting forces in contemporary Irish music.
