FTX Productions presents its 12th annual law school musical: Mean Girls! Based on the 2004 cult classic movie, this story follows the journey of a homeschooled teen who must navigate the most terrifying environment she has ever seen... high school. With sharp humour, catchy songs, and plenty of pink attitude, this is a high-energy musical you do not want to miss.

Venue and Parking

The Alumni Auditorium is located on the ground floor of the Jock Turcot University Centre (UCU) at the University of Ottawa. A map of the Jock Turcot can be found here. Maps of the University of Ottawa campus can be found here. 

The nearest parking is Lot K (60 University Private), which is an uncovered lot behind the venue. The nearest garage is Brooks (100 Thomas More Private). Please note that these are paid parking locations and the rates are set by the University of Ottawa.

Is this musical appropriate for kids?

This musical contains strong language and mature themes including sex, substance use, body image, and bullying. It is based on the PG-13 film. Parental discretion is recommended for younger viewers.

How long is this musical?

Mean Girls runs for approximately 2.5 hours which includes a 15 minute intermission.

Is there assigned seating?

Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats can be reserved for accessibility needs. If you require accessible seating, you can indicate that during checkout.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Only if there are tickets available. We strongly encourage everyone to purchase their tickets online in advance.

What time do doors open?

Doors will open 45 minutes before each performance.

What time should I arrive? 

We advise attendees to arrive 30 minutes before the show begins. The doors will be closing 10 minutes before showtime. Please note that late entry will not be permitted.

Will food and drinks be available for purchase?

We will have a variety of snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase during intermission. We will also be selling raffle tickets. No outside food will be permitted in the auditorium. We accept payment by cash, credit, and debit.
