Escape to the Tuscan countryside in this hands-on class celebrating the rustic, comforting flavors of Lucca. You'll start by making homemade tagliatelle pasta from scratch, paired with a rich, slow-simmered Lucchese-style beef and pork ragu — a true labor of love that showcases classic Tuscan technique. Alongside, you'll sauté fresh spinach in nutty brown butter and finish it with sharp pecorino for a simple, elegant side dish. To close out the meal, you'll learn to make an affogato, layering creamy fiordilatte gelato with a hot shot of espresso, alongside cantucci (crunchy almond biscotti) served the traditional way — dipped in sweet Vin Santo wine.
Along the way, you'll build essential Italian cooking skills, from rolling fresh pasta dough to balancing rich, savory flavors with bright, simple sides — leaving you ready to bring an authentic taste of Tuscany to your own table.
