About Tim Watson

Tim Watson first rose to prominence as a member of the Australian band Taxiride, achieving major chart success with seven Top 40 singles, including Get Set, Everywhere You Go, and Creepin’ Up Slowly.

With Taxiride, Tim toured internationally across Japan, the United States, and Europe, including supporting the legendary Tina Turner on her European tour.

Throughout his career, Tim has appeared on numerous Australian television programs including Rove, Hey Hey It’s Saturday, The Panel, and RocKwiz. He has also enjoyed success with Australian club hits, written music for television and film, and hosted his own radio program.

Tim’s solo performances feature an engaging mix of classic favourites and contemporary hits. Known for his quick wit and relaxed stage presence, he takes requests by the truckload and delivers a lively, entertaining show suited to any occasion.
