Since 2012, our subdivision has hosted successful community garage sales bi-annually. Thanks to you for your participation by spreading the word to your friends and family, hosting or co-hosting a garage sale and shopping! Each year we’ve had more than 20 homes host a garage sale.

Things to Consider
Start sharing the date with friends, family and co-workers! Check out Royal Acres Subdivision FaceBook page for a “digital advertisement” picture that you can share.
Don’t think you’ll have enough stuff to make it worth the trouble? Consider partnering with a neighbor – set up at one house, share the “staffing” responsibilities and have more fun!
Sell big or outgrown items cluttering your basement or garage (e.g. indoor/outdoor furniture, sports equipment, outdoor toys, bikes, appliances).
Take advantage of our subdivision sale marketing efforts as we’ll advertise to socials and the public.
Don’t know how to organize or price stuff for a garage sale?? If you RSVP by May 13th, we will have a checklist, pricing guidelines and lots of successful garage sale tips to share.
This seems overwhelming! How can my family get started!!! Immediately place an empty box in each bedroom and encourage the occupant to fill it up within the next 4 weeks. Use larger boxes in common rooms, basement and garage for general household items.
