We’re excited to welcome Studio Schmauss to Casa Lawa for our beloved Cherry Festival , happening 16–20 June 2026, when our cherry trees burst into bloom and CASA LAWA takes on a soft, fragrant glow.
Known for their playful, aesthetic approach to regional ingredients, Studio Schmauss brings the spirit of their Berlin-Kreuzberg culinary studio to Sicily for the first time. Their work — rooted in small-farm sourcing, creative technique, and warm hospitality — will guide our exploration of cherries at their seasonal peak.
Expect cherries in vivid, surprising expressions — fresh, preserved, cooked, and paired with herbs and the first sun-ripened produce of the season — all brought to life with the studio’s signature sense of curiosity and craft while the orchard blooms at its most magical time of the year.

Studio Schmaus is a young culinary studio based in Berlin-Kreuzberg that combines regionality, creativity, and a passion for good food and hospitality. The focus is exclusively on German products from small farmers and producers, which are presented in a playful and aesthetic way.
