Highland High School Rock Concert – Volume 7 is a one-of-a-kind experience that brings learning far beyond the stage. Featuring music ranging from Led Zeppelin to Miami Sound Machine, this concert gives students the opportunity to explore styles not typically heard in a traditional school setting while performing alongside professional musicians and HHS alumni currently studying music in college.

In addition to performing with the concert band, choir, and jazz ensemble, students have taken an active role behind the scenes—learning about budgeting, press releases, sponsorships, audio engineering, sound checks, and marketing. Rock Concert Volume 7 has become a truly unique hallmark of the Highland High School music program and proudly serves as the department’s largest annual fundraiser.
