Fresh air, lakeside views… and a group of singles who are (probably) just as fed up with dating apps as you are ☕🌊
Join us on Sunday 19th April at 10:30am at Rutland Water, where we’ll be meeting at the Waterside Café near Normanton Car Park for a relaxed (and slightly more fun than usual) coffee and conversation walk.
Rutland Water is kind of the ideal setting for this — big open skies, beautiful water views, and plenty of space to wander, chat, and pretend you’re the sort of person who always spends their weekends outdoors. It’s calm, scenic, and a lot more enjoyable than trying to think of something witty to say on a screen.
We’ll grab a drink, get everyone together, and then head off for a walk along the water — giving you plenty of chances to chat, mix, and meet different people as we go. No awkward interviews, no forced pairings… just actual conversations with actual humans.
Whether you’re coming along to make new friends, expand your social circle, or see if there’s someone you click with, this is a genuinely easy-going way to do it. And if nothing else, you’ll get a good walk, a coffee, and a reminder that meeting people doesn’t have to feel like hard work.
At the heart of it, we’re building something bigger — a social singles community where you’ve got more people to do things with, more chances to connect, and more opportunities for something to happen naturally.
So come along, bring a bit of curiosity (and maybe a decent walking pace), and see where the morning takes you 🌿
Refreshments provided are a Grind Iced coffees and snack bar - however if you wish to purchase anything else you can do from the cafe.
