We’re delighted to be bringing Everywhere We Meet to Reading, hosted at the gorgeous Angel Bar in Caversham — a leafy, characterful neighbourhood just moments from Reading train station and with easy access from the M4.

Angel Bar is a charming, intimate cocktail bar with a slightly quirky, art-deco feel.  Stylish without being stuffy, it’s the perfect setting for relaxed conversation, easy introductions, and that unmistakable spark of a great date night venue.

With beautifully made cocktails, a welcoming atmosphere, and a cosy layout that encourages mingling, Angel Bar offers a warm and friendly backdrop for meeting new people in a space that feels special without trying too hard.

The format is simple and easy: you’ll be placed into small groups of 4–5 people, with 8-10 minutes to chat before we gently rotate the groups. This gives everyone the chance to meet each other naturally, without pressure or awkwardness.

Once the slow dating rounds are finished, the evening opens up — stay for a drink, continue conversations that sparked your interest, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

Our events is open to adults aged 18 or over and who are currently single. By purchasing a ticket you confirm you meet this requirement.

Everywhere We Meet acts as host for a period of two hours from the official start of each event. During this time, we’ll be on-site to facilitate the event and help everyone feel welcome. After the two-hour period, guests remain at the venue at their own discretion.

Attendees are responsible for their own interactions and safety during and after the event. The organisers accept no liability for any personal outcomes, meetings or relationships that may result.
