Teddy began his standup comedy career 1990 in Maryland/Washington DC. He won the Washington DC national comedy competition while also playing all the local comedy clubs for 2 years. His first television appearance was the Comedy Central show Stand Up Stand Up which led to performing at the legendary Showtime At The Apollo.  He soon after moved to New York City where he struggled to get stage time being the new comedian on the block. He got help from his good friend Dave Chappelle & once he got his shot he never looked back. He quickly became a crowd favorite. One night while performing at the Comic Strip Live he was discovered by a talent agent. That lead to a lot bookings up & down the East Coast. Teddy has open for the legendary group The Isley Brothers at the Tropicana in Atlantic City. While doing The Gordon Elliott Show television show he met & became friends with the late legendary comedian Jackie Mason. Teddy has performed numerous times at The MusicBox at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. Teddy was discovered by a movie producer & cast in the movie Tomorrow’s Today playing on Amazon Prime.  He’s now starring in a new movie called The Wilde Girls coming out on Netflix & other streaming platforms
